The Discover Ashburton guide is intended primarily for visitors to Ashburton and Southern Dartmoor but is equally of interest to local residents with its features on local walks, sights and attractions, places to eat, places to stay, independent shops and more.  It's freely available in local Information Centres, B&B's, hotels, restaurants, pubs, shops and attractions.

 

The guide is made possible by the generous support of many members of our fantastic community.   The work of several talented local photographers is featured throughout the guide and site - photographs are credited where possible.   Many of our articles are the work of local writers who have provided their stories, myths and legends or written about their passions and interests.  And our independent shops and businesses have supported us through advertising, distributing the guide and encouragement.
